WWE Unleashed Raw Brand Live Results

Stop the presses. A new world champion crowned. Uh... Well, almost. Okay, house shows like this aren't quite the spectacle they make Raw and Smackdown, but They're just as entertaining. Titles probably won't change hands at a non-televised event, but Then again they probably won't change hands at a televised event unless it's a pay-per-view. So, you wanna know who won the matches huh. Well, I guess my wity commentary will only hold your attention for so long.

Check out the results to the many, many matches in another ( you guessed it ) MyTake unordered list...
  • 6 man tag:
Val Venis, Goldust, and Lance Cade
vs. Lance Storm, Steven Richards, and Mark Jindrak.
    winner... Val, Golddust, Lance Cade.
This match was pretty cool tag team action. Like all the matches on the card it was pretty back and forth. All and all it was cool considering no one did any popular signature moves.

  • The Dudley Boys vs. Jamal and Rosey
    winner... The Dudleys.
D-von! Get the tables. This was one of the better matches. The Dudleys pulled it off, and even gave a peice of the table they put they're opponents through to a kid in the audience. Yes little Jimmy. You can be like the Dudley's and solve problems through cartoon like ultra violence.

  • Spike Dudley & Maven vs. Rodney Mack & Chris Nowinsky ( with Teddy Long )
winner... Rodney Mack & Chris Nowinsky
Alright, I'm not entirely sure I remember who won this match ( which should give you a clue how good it was and make you feel better about not knowing the outcome ) but, I'm pretty sure Chris and Rodney cheated and gained the victory.

  • RVD and Kane vs. Le Resistance for the Tag Titles.
    winner... Le Resistance.
This was a good match. RVD hit the frog splash and Kane hit the chokeslam ( too bad this was after the match ).

  • Fatal Four Way for the Women's Title
    winner... Jazz
Molly and Victoria were elimated first leaving Trish and Jazz to duke it out. Trish hit the Stratusfaction on Victoria but, had no such luck with Jazz.

  • Hurricane vs. Christian for the IC Title
    winner... Christian
My Hurrisense is tingling. Oh wait, thats just the indigestion from those nachos. So ,although I really wanted Hurricane to win, I understand that Christian's still on the high of his new hair style so whatever.

  • Chris Jericho's "Highlight Reel" featuring Stacy Keibler
The most entertaining part of the show that involved no wrestling. Chris started right away with his crowd insults and was sumarily booed. However the crowd response changed when he announced his guest. Not only was it my favorite diva, but It also meant no Test ( who was originally supposed to be the guest ). There was some arguing ( not much interviewing ) when Stacy made an insult prompting Jericho to attack her. Wouldn't you know it, it was Test to the rescue. Well Stacy ( who did I mention was my favorite diva ) wouldn't leave with Test ( go figure ) and instead left alone after waving to the crowd.

  • Scott Steiner vs. Rico
    winner... Scott Stiener
Let's face it. Ther is absolutley no way Rico could beat Big Poppa Pump. I'm not a Scott Stiener fan ( I always liked Ric Stiener more ). In fact I like him only slightly more than Rico ( which is to say not alot ). But this was an entertaining match anyway. Not to mention Stacy came out with him ( again go figure ).

  • Kevin Nash vs. Triple H
winner... Nash uh HHH uh Ripoff ending.
This is how it breaks down. House shows are great, because They make sure to give everyone what they want. The good guys always hit they're special moves, They win when it won't effect the storyline, and someones going through a table. However, in a title match such as this, they can't have the title change hands and then have the t.v. audience not know what happened. They did find a more creative way to accomplish this than the usual run in disqualification. You see the ref ( Earl Hebner ) was knocked unconscious when Nash accidentally hit him in the corner. Ric Flair ( who was at ringside ) tryed to get involved, but was summarily destroyed by Nash. The Big Kev hit the Power Bomb ( Oh Yeah! ) and pinned Triple H. A new ref came out and made the three count, but Then the first ref woke up. He disqualified Nash for hitting him in the corner. My problem with this was just before he was knocked out by Nash, Triple H hit him on purpose. Triple H should have been disqulified, or The match should have continued allowing Ric Flair to hit Nash with a chair or something. But, I suppose it dosen't matter because either way Triple H would have retained the title.
All in all it was a pretty good show. Better than the last one I went to. Even though this time I was in the 11th row and last time I was ringside. Although in the 11th row nobody decides to be annoying and ask if they can come stand in front of you to take a picture of they're favorite wrestler every three seconds. Anyway, I took a bunch of pictures, so If they come out okay I'll post em here. Until then...

Catch ya later...

WWE UNLEASHED RAW BRAND LIVE

Finally the WWE has come back, and blah, blah, blah. The WWE is touring the country and I've got the ticket to ride. What's more, I've now got a way to kick off the wrestling section of the site. I mean nothing really collosal has happnened since the large scale ( but unsucessful ) takeover of the WWE by the WCW ( or was that the sucessful take over of the WCW by the WWE ). Not to mention that since the house shows ( non-televised ) events are the same from city to city. You might get a head start on what to expect. So stay tuned for a recap, MyTake on the event, and possibly pictures.
The scheduled card is:

  • Kevin Nash vs. Triple H ( with Ric Flair ) for the World Title.

  • Chris Jericho's "Highlight Reel" featuring Test.

  • Hurricane vs. Christian for the IC Tile.

  • RVD and Kane vs. Le Resistance for the Tag Titles.

  • Spike Dudley & Maven vs. Rodney Mack
( with Teddy Long and Chris Nowinsky ).

  • The Dudley Boys vs. Jamal and Rosey

  • 6 man tag:
Val Venis, Goldust, and Lance Cade
vs. Lance Storm, Steven Richards, and Mark Jindrak.
I'll be there so in a way you'll be there ( through my story )...

MyTake on Wrestling

Wrestling is a very complex game of chess between to skilled tactitions, or They might just hit each other with chairs. Either way it's good wholesome entertainment for the whole familiy. This is the MyTake section where we will discuss the good and the bad, the right and the wrong, the charismatic and the Lance Stormish. So buckle up it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
Let me say one thing right now. I love wrestling. What I love more is complaining about how stupid the storylines are, and how much better the WCW was back in the days of the NWO wolfpac ( around 1999 for the youngins ). Wrestling is in decent shape. I am a fan of the brand split, though I would like it more if they had followed the plan and made Raw a WCW show (see only thing I love more). You see the WWE decided the brand name WCW had lost it's market gusto ( which it probably has with every1 but me ) (wipes tear from face). The old days ( from about 3 years ago ) are gone, and I guess I just have to deal with it. Besides they might bring back Sting ( realizes that they won't and begins weeping ).
